A coalition of transit advocates gathered 17,000 signatures to get the Community Transit Act on the Nov. 5 ballot, aiming to generate up to $30 million annually for Muni.
"With federal funding ending, we felt it was important to move on funding before SFMTA faces challenges in 2026," said Cyrus Hall, campaign manager for the initiative.
