Multiple SFPD Plainclothes Officers Shot at in SoMa, Suspect in Custody

After a suspect fired at plainclothes SFPD officers, no gunfire injuries were reported, but several city blocks were cordoned off immediately for safety.
SFPD Chief Bill Scott stated, 'This violent episode highlights the dangers our officers face daily. I want to thank our brave officers... for making an arrest.'
Police have noted that there were no casualties despite the shooting, which occurred at around 8:15 pm near Ninth and Mission Streets in San Francisco.
Witness footage from the scene revealed numerous officers blocking access to buildings, while the SFPD managed to apprehend the suspect without injury to their team.
