The Function is a full-time comedy club and cocktail lounge located at 1414 Market Street near Hayes Valley in Mid Market, San Francisco. The venue is Black-owned and co-owned by Stroy Moyd, Johnny Funcheap and Ludo Racinet. Shows run Sundays and Mondays with two sets at 7:00pm and 8:45pm featuring 70+ minute lineups of 4–5 comics with credits from Cobbs, Punchline, SF Sketchfest, Clusterfest and Outside Lands. Capacity is limited to 60 people per show with a limited number of free RSVP tickets. The bar offers cocktails, draft beer, curated wines, non-alcoholic options and the signature "Hot Spot Combo."
