For years, large empty tree wells and uneven pavement on Davis Street near the Embarcadero posed safety risks, leading to complaints from residents. A woman fell and sustained injuries due to the cracked sidewalk caused by tree roots. In response to these concerns, Supervisor Danny Sauter and neighbors contacted local news for assistance. Recently, Public Works completed repairs, pouring concrete to create a smooth and safe sidewalk next to Sydney Walton Square.
