A French bulldog named Hank was stolen outside bar 440 at 440 Castro Street on the night of December 10 while in the care of one of his dads. A male suspect reportedly unleashed Hank and ran off with him into a waiting car. Owner Parker Brumfield appealed for help to find his five-year-old pet, saying, "He's like not just a dog; he's my child." The San Francisco Police Department took a suspect, 44-year-old Dante Shaw of Oakland, into custody. A good Samaritan located Hank on December 18 and Hank was returned in good physical health.
