"We are pleased to offer free general admission for essential workers - including emergency services, health care, grocery stores, city operations and maintenance, social services, public transit, and delivery services - to receive a $15 discount on tickets to special exhibitions, through December 2021. This discount can be redeemed on-site with your work badge. Please see the full list of Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers."
Every Saturday, Bay Area residents with valid photo ID or a postmarked envelope bearing a home address can receive free general admission to the permanent collection galleries at the Legion of Honor. Advanced tickets are required because capacity is limited due to COVID-19 precautions, and reserving in advance helps visitors skip the line. Admission to special exhibitions is not included or discounted and requires full admission price. Saturdays include family-friendly art experiences such as art-making, gallery guides, and tours with discussion and sketching in the permanent galleries. Visitors ages 17 and under always receive free admission to the permanent collection galleries. The offer can change or be canceled, and essential and frontline workers can receive free general admission plus a $15 discount on special exhibition tickets through December 2021.
