San Francisco is hosting a number of world leaders, dignitaries, and visitors for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit, or APEC. It's the biggest gathering of world leaders in the city since the 1945 UN Conference on International Organization.
Days ahead of schedule, the SFMTA tweets that some MUNI stops are inaccessible in the exclusion zones, the security zones set up by the U.S. Secret Service. Buses are bypassing stops. The SFMTA planned to adjust transit routes around the security zones beginning on Monday, Nov. 13.
