Officers from the Drug Market Agency Coordination Center (DMACC) spotted 23-year-old Natomee Hilton near Market and Jones and recognized him as wanted for a violent robbery in Los Angeles. Officers attempted maneuvers to box in the vehicle but were unsuccessful, deploying a spike strip and using vehicles to block the suspect. The suspect reversed onto the sidewalk, slammed into vehicles and a building, and fled dangerously with blown red lights and wrong-way driving through multiple police districts. A drone assisted before officers located Hilton under Pier 30, and the Marine Unit helped take him into custody. Hilton was booked on numerous felony and traffic charges.
