The BayPass Pilot Program, which allows people to ride BART and other modes of public transportation for free, is moving into its next phase by including 6,000 employees with UC San Francisco.

Phase I of the BayPass Pilot Program began in August 2022, with about 50,000 Bay Area residents invited to participate. Phase III is set to include a total of about 20,000 people and will continue through 2026.
