The Fire Station Community Holiday Decorations Competition brings together over 20 fire stations each year showcasing unique and festive displays, enhancing community spirit and joy.
Last year's contest featured incredible displays: Station 39 showcased lighted trees and snow machines, while Station 12 presented a 15-foot live tree with a Grateful Dead logo projection.
The competition not only highlights creativity among fire stations but also encourages charitable giving, with $4,000 in prizes donated to local charities by winning stations.
As part of the holiday tradition, block parties at various fire stations allow the community to celebrate together on December 23, with winners announced the following day.
