The South San Francisco Police Department had received tips for weeks about the alleged brothel. A surveillance operation confirmed the existence of the illicit activities.
During the raid on the apartment, police found $10,000 in cash and arrested a 65-year-old woman, Xiuli Wei, who was allegedly managing the brothel.
