Zoox is offering limited public access to its autonomous robotaxi service in San Francisco through the Zoox Explorers program. The program has begun releasing some people from the waitlist and provides free demonstration rides to selected participants. Service coverage includes most of SoMa, the Mission, and the Design District neighborhoods. Riders can choose destinations from suggested points of interest, enter a street address, or drop a pin to set a destination. Interested riders must download the Zoox app to join the waitlist and await an invitation to participate.
