Rodolfo Lopez-Portillo, 51, was convicted of murdering 60-year-old Arasb Shoughi by repeatedly striking him with a metal pipe during a robbery at a pawn shop. The jury found him guilty of two counts of second-degree murder, two counts of first-degree robbery, and criminal possession of a weapon.
