"The locals who grew up here used to slide down the roof and play hide-and-seek, and it was kind of like the playground here for the kids," says listing agent Jaime Brandon.
"We got three offers for over asking, which was awesome," she says. "It was really cool to be able to sell something that I've admired and thought was the coolest house in Running Springs for the last 20 years."
"It's not as cool and original as it probably was in the '60s, but they did a pretty good job of cleaning it up," she adds.
"When you come in, it's pitched in the middle-like when you make a tent as a kid when you put up a broom in the middle of a blanket and it just kind of flows down," she explains.
