A pro-ICE electronic billboard with Super Bowl-themed messages appeared at Fisherman's Wharf, flashing rotating slogans that praised ICE using football-defense metaphors. The billboard was located at Jefferson and Mason streets above a tourist shop called $10 Hoodies. District 3 Supervisor Danny Sauter said on Instagram that the ads have been removed, crediting the Fisherman's Wharf Community Benefit District and the business owner for their partnership. The ads were placed by a group calling itself American Sovereignty, not by Immigration and Customs Enforcement. That group maintains a minimal website with only an email sign-up, and the Fisherman's Wharf placement appears to be its only ad buy to date.
