Golden Globe winner shouts out San Francisco comedy club in acceptance speech
Briefly

This is so nice! Oh my gosh, thank you so, so much. You know, I come from San Francisco, and that’s where I started doing stand-up, and I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for all the stage time that I got there and all the practice that I got to become a stand-up comedian.
It was like, literally half cafe, half laundromat, 100% homeless shelter. And the show would start at 5 p.m. and you'd do three minutes to people jerking off into their eggs and folding their laundry.
