The San Francisco Department of Elections reported an additional 35,979 ballots processed, raising the total to 325,114. The current turnout stands at 62.3%.
In District 1, incumbent Connie Chan leads challenger Marjan Philhour by 558 votes, an increase from a 262-vote lead yesterday in a highly contested race.
Elections Director John Arntz explained that in the event of a tied vote for the Board of Supervisors, the outcome will be decided by a "drawing of lots".
Incumbent Dean Preston has more first-place votes than challenger Bilal Mahmood, but after ranked-choice voting, Mahmood leads by 1,307 votes and is gaining ground.
