Yosemite National Park finally decides what it's doing about 2025 reservations
Briefly

Yosemite National Park will adopt a reservation system from June 15 to Aug. 15, 2025, to streamline visitor access during peak summer season. Reservations will be needed daily from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., including weekends around Memorial Day and Labor Day. This policy aims to ensure equitable visitor distribution throughout the day. However, the late announcement has raised concerns among local hotel owners about low occupancy rates due to ongoing uncertainties with the reservation process, economic downturns, and recent staffing challenges.
This system ensures all visitors, whether they plan in advance or decide last minute, can experience the park each day.
We are at just over half of our usual peak summer occupancy at this time.
