Korisa Lynn Woll, a 39-year-old mother, is charged with murder and child abuse following the death of her 20-month-old daughter, found with lethal fentanyl levels. Reports indicate Woll, a meth addict, failed to call 911 after discovering her child's death, attempting instead to provide Narcan and CPR before leaving the body at a hospital. Witnesses describe a history of neglectful drug use within the household, revealing a disturbing pattern of behavior that had drawn previous attention from child protective services.
Woll discovered her child's body the next morning, but instead of calling for help, she 'tried to give the baby Narcan and mouth-to-mouth (CPR),' Deputy District Attorney Kristal Salcido alleged.
The toxicology exam found 22 ng/ml of fentanyl in Baby Z's system - enough to kill two adults, KRON 4 reported.
Woll is being held without bond and is awaiting trial.
They would often shut their kids in the bedroom and do drugs in the living room, a neighbor/drug buddy told investigators.
