A mother and her five-year-old child were hospitalized following a hit-and-run incident in San Francisco during Memorial Day weekend. Eyewitnesses provided descriptions of the vehicle, leading to a suspect, Jonathan Tyler Lam, being arrested eight days later in Daly City. Lam has been charged with felony Hit and Run and was held on $100,000 bail. However, despite his arrest, the investigation remains open, encouraging the public to share any information related to the case with SFPD.
The suspect, identified as Jonathan Tyler Lam, 35-year-old male, was placed into custody and transported to San Francisco County Jail where he was booked in violation of felony Hit and Run.
Eight days later, SFPD says they've found their hit-and-run driver. According to a Monday afternoon press release from the department, SFPD says they arrested a 35-year-old suspect early Sunday night in Daly City.
