Saratoga Historical Foundation to host free Fourth of July event

The Fourth of July event at Kevin Moran Park promises traditional festivities including a parade, the ringing of the Liberty Bell, singing, and free refreshments. Coordinated by Tadashi Okuno, the event features the McCartysville Wind Band, composed of 75 volunteers. Simultaneously, the Aegis Gallery will host an art exhibit titled "Art for All Ages," showcasing artwork by elementary school children alongside local artists, emphasizing creativity and the importance of arts education for children amid declining school art programs. The gallery reception is scheduled for July 5, 4-7 p.m.
At Aegis Gallery, the joint exhibit "Art for All Ages" features artwork created by elementary school children partnered with the Muindi Foundation, alongside independent Bay Area artists.
The Fourth of July celebration at Kevin Moran Park includes a parade, community members dressing as historical figures, and live music from the McCartysville Wind Band.
