A San Mateo high school father has been charged after allegedly firing shots at boys who bullied his daughter. The incident arose when three boys were involved in previous pranks targeting his daughter's home. Frustrated by the ongoing bullying and damage to his property, Craig Steven Miceli allegedly shot at their vehicle, claims to have aimed for its tires, and disposed of the firearm. Following the incident, police found an illegal machine gun at his home. He now faces multiple serious charges and is out on bail awaiting further legal proceedings.
Miceli told police he was tired of his daughter being bullied, and was "angry he was having to spend time cleaning oil off [his] porch."
Officers subsequently served a search warrant at Miceli's home and found a different weapon, an illegal .50 Browning machine gun rifle, as well as multiple types of ammunition.
