The Orinda Independence Day celebration on July 4, 2025, is packed with activities for all ages. It begins with a flag raising at 7:55 a.m. and includes breakfast burritos available until 10 a.m. A Fun Run supporting the Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood Foundation takes place at 8 a.m. The parade kicks off at 10 a.m., featuring a route through the Theatre and Village Districts. The event culminates with a concert, food trucks, and various festivities at the Community Center Park, making for a delightful day for families and the community.
Celebrate our country's Independence Day with Orinda's annual parade, sponsored by The Orinda Association. It's a full day of events culminating with a concert in the park.
At 8 a.m., it's Fun Run for a Reason, a two or five-mile walk/run supporting the Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood Foundation, which aims to raise awareness.
The parade begins at 10 a.m. in Orinda's Theatre District and continues under the freeway to Orinda's Village District, culminating at the Orinda Community Center.
