Missing woman found safe in Fresno County speaks for first time
Briefly

Tiffany Slaton, a Georgia woman, was rescued after being missing for three weeks in the Fresno County mountains. Initially reported missing on April 29 after embarking on a solo camping trip, she survived a significant fall and relied on her foraging skills. Found in a cabin near Lake Edison, Slaton described her ordeal, including losing both her sleeping bags and tent. She appeared battered with eye injuries upon discovery, wearing sunglasses to cover the damage sustained during the harsh conditions.
I was coming to try and do a camping trip, so I had two sleeping bags and a basic tent. At the end, after fighting nature for such a long time, I lost my tent.
Slaton says she relied on her foraging skills to survive after enduring tough conditions in the wilderness for weeks.
