The Mira Costa boys' volleyball team showcased an outstanding performance, sweeping Loyola in a heated rivalry match with scores of 25-19, 25-18, and 25-20. Leading the charge was senior Thatcher Fahlbusch, who contributed 12 kills. The Mustangs, now 20-1, avenged a recent loss to Loyola, ending an 11-match losing streak against them. With impressive teamwork and strong serving, the team established themselves as favorites for the Southern Section's highest division title, buoyed by contributions from several players, including Mateo Fuerbringer and Grayson Bradford.
