Gardai release photograph of Carlow gunman (22) as they appeal for witnesses to shooting
Briefly

A tragic incident occurred at the Fairgreen Shopping Centre in Carlow on June 1, where a 22-year-old man, on bail for firearms offences, took his own life after discharging a firearm. Investigators do not believe he intended to harm others, but a nine-year-old child was injured while escaping.
