Cornell Engineering has announced a significant expansion of Duffield Hall, which will now include the area currently occupied by Phillips Hall. In honor of Ellis L. Phillips Sr., a pioneering alumnus and influential business leader, the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering will have its directorship named after him, with Alyssa Apsel as its inaugural holder.
