Sutton Foster's next Broadway role has been announced

Sutton Foster, Broadway star and two-time Tony winner, will take on the role of country music legend Loretta Lynn in the upcoming bio-musical 'Coal Miner's Daughter'. Directed by Sam Gold, the production is based on Lynn's autobiography and the acclaimed 1980 film. Foster's casting received positive acknowledgment from Lynn's family, who expressed gratitude for continuing her mother's legacy. This role marks Foster's return to a leading position on stage since her notable performance in 'The Music Man' in 2022, further cementing her strong presence in the theater community.
