Downtown First Thursdays runs monthly through 2026 starting Jan 1 with a New Year's Day edition. Events occur rain or shine along 2nd Street and surrounding blocks, open to all ages and free to attend. Offerings include DJs, live performances, dancing, drag shows, food trucks, shopping, fashion, arts-and-crafts pop-ups, curbside karaoke, and rotating guest curators from Another Planet Entertainment, Carnaval SF, Black Joy Parade, and local talent. The Discoteca features the Biggest Disco Ball West of the Mississippi, and Howard Stage Happy Hour by Pallette SF runs 5–7 PM with themed, genre-fluid street dance parties and drink specials.
