Livermore welcomes a new pizzeria and a new pizza from Tony Gemignani

Tony Gemignani, a renowned pizza expert with 13 World Pizza Cup wins and Guinness World Records, has expanded his Slice House franchise model throughout the Bay Area. The Livermore location opened in late February 2024 at downtown's First Street, featuring New York, Sicilian, Grandma, and Detroit-style pizzas available by the slice or whole pie, with dietary options including gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian choices. The Livermore restaurant exclusively serves The True Italian pizza, inspired by his brother's former Castro Valley pizzeria, combining New York-style thin crust with pesto, mozzarella, garlic, tomato, and Romano cheese. Beyond pizza, the restaurant offers pasta, wings, salads, wine, and craft beer. Additional Slice House locations are planned for San Jose and Menlo Park.
