Justin Vernon has announced the release of two new songs from Bon Iver, titled "If Only I Could Wait" and "Walk Home," with the latter featuring Danielle Haim. The project, SABLE, fABLE, is set to release on April 11 via Jagjaguwar. Vernon describes "Walk Home" as an energetic, romantic track, while "If Only I Could Wait" serves as a poignant duet that explores the theme of emotional attachment and questioning longevity in relationships. The album follows his previous work from 2019 and is co-produced by Jim-E Stack.
For the second look into fABLE, it couldn't be a single; it had to be a double. First, 'Walk Home' is a romp where you can't wait to pull your clothes off fast enough and jump inside bed with your one true lover.
