A community event at Ocean Beach showcased impressive sand art created by participants wielding rakes. The art featured intricate geometric designs such as spirals and peace signs, culminating in a central message of kindness. The atmosphere was festive, with people weaving through the temporary creations. KaviAmador, a young usher, exemplified maturity as he welcomed attendees. Andrés Amador, the event's organizer, admired the artwork's temporary nature, reflecting a carefree attitude. He embodies a San Francisco hippie persona, balancing his roots in environmental science with a begrudging acknowledgment of technology after a challenging stint in the tech industry.
Amador is the prototype of the San Franciscan hippie who begrudgingly dabbled in tech - just enough to know he despises it.
They created spirals, peace signs, and sunrays across the shore, anchored by a simple message: 'Be Kind.'
The vibe last Saturday was crop circle. A mass of people congregated on the beach with rakes in hand, creating some of the best sand art I've ever seen.
As I walked down to the beach I was greeted by a 10-year-old with the presence of an established 40-something man.
