Shea Couleé, the winner of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 5, reveals insights into her character Slug from the upcoming Marvel series Ironheart, premiering June 24. Ironheart will follow Riri Williams, a young genius portrayed by Dominique Thorne, as she creates her own Iron Man-inspired suit while navigating challenges including a fraught dynamic with the Hood. The teasers hint at high stakes as Riri embarks on her journey. Shea describes Slug as a fierce hacker involved in helping the community by supporting a group of urban Robin Hoods, promising visually impactful appearances.
"You will be seeing the diva in some looks," Shea says of her character, whom she only identifies as a "really fierce hacker" called Slug.
"I help a group of urban Robin Hoods to take away from the privileged and help give back to the community," Shea said.
