General Oleksandr Syrskyi disclosed that Ukraine has captured 594 Russian servicemen in the Kursk region while also reclaiming 100 settlements over a three-week operation.
Syrskyi explained that one objective of the Kursk operation is to divert Russian forces from key areas, primarily away from Pokrovsk and Kurakhove.
Syrskyi stated that approximately 30,000 Russian servicemen have been sent to the Kursk front, which is affecting Russia's ability to maintain pressure in other regions.
Regarding the Pokrovsk front, Syrskyi described the situation as "fairly difficult," with Russian forces leveraging superiority in personnel and artillery.
