Miles Gutierrez-Riley is a rising star who shows there's "no right way or wrong way" to be queer - Queerty
Corey Fogelmanis stars as Ben, a non-binary teen who is kicked out by their parents, in I Wish You All the Best. Miles Gutierrez-Riley plays Nathan, Ben’s love interest, who helps Ben recognize that they are worthy of love despite repeated rejection. While filming, Gutierrez-Riley reflects on the many ways love can be expressed and describes how loving someone for the first time can feel scary and overwhelming. He also connects the script to his own experiences of being able to be himself from a young age and managing energy he did not always know how to direct. Gutierrez-Riley previously gained attention for playing Eddie in Agatha All Along, where queer representation in the MCU resonated with viewers.
"Based on Mason Deaver's acclaimed novel of the same name, I Wish You All the Best stars Corey Fogelmanis as a non-binary teen named Ben who's kicked out by their parents. Gutierrez-Riley plays Nathan, their love interest, who helps Ben realize they're worthy of love, despite dealing with so much rejection."
"While filming the movie, Gutierrez-Riley says he found himself realizing "how many ways there are to love someone." The script resonated with his own experiences. "I was really blessed to always sort of be my unique self from a young age," Gutierrez-Riley told this past November. "And with that came a lot of energy that I didn't always know how to direct. And loving someone, especially for the first time, can be really scary, and it can be quite overwhelming.""
""It means the world," Gutierrez-Riley told . "The MCU is massive, and it touches so many people because it's personal and the fact that representation is authentic and coming from creators that actually care about the stories they're telling and can relate to them. It means the world and I haven't taken it for granted from the second I got the call. I'm really honored to be a part of it in this way.""
