Drag Race icon The Vivienne to be honoured in new documentary, Dear Viv
Briefly

The documentary 'Dear Viv' is in production, celebrating the life and accomplishments of The Vivienne, a renowned Welsh drag queen who tragically passed away at 32. Produced by Drag Race creators World of Wonder, it will include intimate interviews with family and fellow contestants, along with archival footage. The film aims to capture her journey from North Wales to Drag Race winner and beyond, showcasing her influence and talent within the LGBTQ+ community. The announcement follows her posthumous recognition at the Metro Pride Awards.
"We want to celebrate The Vivienne's extraordinary life and work so everyone can experience her incredible talent, sass and enormous heart," World of Wonder co-founders Randy Barbato and Fenton Bailey said in a joint statement.
"Although her stay here on Earth was far too brief, it was with tremendous admiration and affection that we share her legacy in Dear Viv."
Lee said: "James loved being a part of the entertainment world and I know he would have been happy. I know he would have absolutely loved tonight's events."
