A gay-owned floral design shop in San Francisco’s Castro district was vandalized with graffiti using Nazi rhetoric that called for gay people to be murdered. The shop owners returned shortly after closing after receiving a client alert and found police already gathered around a message on the outside wall reading “Fa**ots = Gas Chambers.” They also learned the suspect had assaulted an upstairs neighbor by punching him in the face after he told the suspect to stop spraying. The suspect fled in a white SUV, and the victim photographed the vehicle and license plate. The SUV’s rear windshield carried a message praising Charlie Kirk, an anti-LGBTQ+ Christian nationalist activist, alongside “Onward Christian Soldiers.
