On June 3, Air Canada made history by operating its first flight staffed entirely by 2SLGBTQIA+ members to celebrate Pride month. The initiative emphasizes the airline's commitment to inclusivity and equality, showcasing a crew that fully embodies these values. Crew members expressed pride, personal connections to the community, and the significance of visibility for acceptance. Through this flight, Air Canada aims to reflect representation and support for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community while fostering a positive and inclusive environment both in the air and on the ground.
