Join us as we close Spring Queer Arts Festival 2025 with Magical Realism: Queer Caribbean Sounds , produced by Esotérica Tropical in partnership with Queer Cultural Center. This immersive night of sound, movement, and magic embodies the festival's theme Pleasure in the Storm , celebrating resilience, joy, and collective healing.
A genre-defying performer named Best Bay Area Music 2024 by Kqed, Esotérica Tropical brings her commanding voice, harp, and Afro-Puerto Rican Bomba/electronic fusion to center stage. She's joined by powerhouse bomba ensemble Batey Tambó.
The night ends in a high-energy reggaeton party led by DJ Kayaté, a selector known for their Caribbean-rooted, high-vibe sets.
