In a significant overnight offensive, Russian forces targeted Ukrainian cities, leading to injuries and extensive infrastructural damage. In the Zaporizhzhia region, six individuals, including a child, sustained injuries, with two houses completely destroyed. Odesa, a strategic Black Sea port, also experienced assaults, injuring three and damaging not only a residential building but also a shopping center. Regional officials reported power outages as a consequence of the strikes, and the Ukrainian military noted a high volume of Russian airstrikes and drone activity in the region during this violent episode.
Russian forces launched a major assault on Ukrainian cities, injuring at least nine individuals and causing significant damage to housing and infrastructures in Zaporizhzhia and Odesa.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, a total of six people were injured, including a 4-year-old boy, with two homes completely destroyed.
A Black Sea port city, Odesa was also targeted, with three individuals wounded, alongside damage to a residential high-rise and a shopping center.
The Ukrainian military reported that Russia executed 94 airstrikes using an arsenal that included 151 rockets and around 3,000 kamikaze drones.
