Ukrainian drone maker Wild Hornets is designing the Sting, a drone aimed at targeting and intercepting the Shahed-136, which poses a significant threat to Ukraine.
The Sting is designed to fly at speeds exceeding 100 miles per hour and reach altitudes of 10,000 feet, ensuring it can effectively engage the Shahed-136.
With 30 to 80 Shahed-136 drones launched daily against Ukraine, the Sting's development is critical for enhancing aerial defense against these Iranian loitering munitions.
Wild Hornets has delivered 14,000 drones to Ukrainian forces and seeks to enhance its capabilities to specifically capture or destroy reconnaissance and loitering UAVs.
