NATO's Supreme Allied Commander, General Christopher Cavoli, stated that Russia's lack of manpower diminishes their potential for a substantial military breakthrough in Ukraine. Speaking at the World Economic Forum, he noted the effectiveness of Ukrainian defenses against Russian offensives, which have been exhausting. The involvement of North Korean soldiers signifies Russia's pressing need for reinforcements. French President Emmanuel Macron emphasized the need for continued support to Ukraine, warning that the conflict is far from over, and cautioning against misconceptions about its swift resolution.
I'm not worried that Ukraine could suddenly lose. I don't see the potential for a massive (Russian) breakthrough.
After all, there is a reason why Russia brought thousands and thousands of soldiers from North Korea.
I think we're going to continue to see this tension between the desire to attack and the lack of manpower on the part of the Russians.
Let us not delude ourselves that this conflict will not end tomorrow or the day after.
