Russian drone strikes in Kharkiv resulted in the deaths of three individuals and injuries to 60 others, including nine children. The aerial assault struck two residential areas, causing significant damage and panic among residents. Individuals, including Mayor Ihor Terekhov, condemned the attacks on peaceful locations while emphasizing community resilience. Local resident Olena Khoruzheva recounted the terrifying experience with her children during the strikes. This incident is part of a larger wave of drone attacks from Russia, targeting various sites across Ukraine in recent days.
The assault left emergency crews, city workers and volunteers scrambling through the night to rescue people from burning buildings and restore essential services in the city, which has been frequently targeted in recent months.
Among the 60 wounded in the attacks were nine children aged between 2 and 15, according to Kharkiv regional head Oleh Syniehubov.
