Russian prosecutors are seeking a seven-year prison sentence for U.S. citizen Stephen Hubbard, 72, accused of mercenary activity in Ukraine against Russia. The request considers his age and his admission of guilt.
The court was informed that Hubbard allegedly signed a contract with the Ukrainian military after Russia's invasion began in February 2022, reportedly with a promise of at least $1,000.
