International Court issues warrants for top Russian military officials
Briefly

The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for former defense minister Sergei Shoigu and chief of the staff Valery Gerasimov for alleged crimes against humanity and war crimes in Ukraine.
Shoigu and Gerasimov were named in the warrants for attacks on civilian infrastructure, following indictments against Putin and his Commissioner for Children's Rights last year.
The court relies on signatories to the Rome Statute to enforce the warrants; Shoigu was replaced by Andrei Belousov and designated head of Russia's Security Council.
