His new role involves participating in critical military duties focused on foreign relations and weapons procurement. Lopresti expressed his commitment to Ukraine, stating that the ongoing conflict is not just a matter of national sovereignty for Ukraine but fundamentally a struggle between freedom and authoritarianism that affects Europe and the global community. He argues that if not contained, dictator regimes pose a threat to global security, referencing the cooperation between China, Iran, and North Korea.

If Putin wins in Ukraine, we all know he won't stop there. Dictators have to be defeated, or they never stop.
With the authoritarian axis of dictatorships - China, Iran and North Korea - on the march and clearly working together Ukraine must be supported and given the tools to win for all our sakes.
It is a huge honour and an immense privilege for me to serve in the Ukrainian military and help the gallant and amazing Ukrainian people in any way I can.
