Mathieu Burgaudeau of TotalEnergies clinched the final stage of the Tour du Limousin with a late solo attack, finishing first in Limoges.
Alex Baudin from Decathlon-AG2R finished just behind Burgaudeau, securing overall victory after a solid performance throughout the four-day race in central France.
The 161km stage featured numerous attacks, but Decathlon-AG2R's strategy eventually prevailed, leading Baudin to a well-deserved win overall despite finishing 16th in the stage.
Burgaudeau's solo effort was poignant, as he caught and surpassed Alexandre Delettre just before the finish, ultimately collapsing from exhaustion but celebrating victory.
