Sarah Snook, preparing for her Broadway debut, has adopted Taylor Swift’s innovative training routine from the Eras Tour, highlighting its influence on her performance. The Succession star must deliver a demanding two-hour show and portray 26 characters, which requires rigorous preparation and focus. Snook maintains a health-focused regimen, avoiding alcohol and caffeine while emphasizing sleep and treadmill rehearsals. Swift herself used a similar strategy, performing her tour set list on a treadmill daily. The connection illustrates how artists adapt techniques for success in their craft, blending inspiration from fellow performers.
When asked about her regimen, Snook replied, "No alcohol, no caffeine. Sleep, sleep, sleep, sleep. And I do my lines at pace on a treadmill ... I heard that [Swift did that] and thought, 'That's a genius idea. I'm gonna do that.'"
Swift prepared for her most recent tour by singing the entire set list out loud on a treadmill every day for six months, using a fast speed for fast songs and jogging or power-walking for slow songs.
