"We all know how we like to race, and we try to completely empty the tanks," said Romanchuk, who also won the race in 2018 and 2019. His final sprint demonstrated this philosophy, as he cut inside Weir and surged to victory.
"I woke up feeling great today," Scaroni said. She dominated the women's field from the start, ultimately winning with a time of 1:48:05, nearly 11 minutes ahead of a strong competitor.
