Stephanie Jacquet, 49, a non-athlete, joined the Paris Marathon for All, highlighting the inclusivity and community spirit of the event.
Paris organized a second marathon and a 10-kilometer race open to participants worldwide, with a 94-year-old runner amongst the diverse entrants.
The race attracted people from 127 countries, including Felix Vo, who drew energy from attending the Olympic men's basketball finals before participating in the event.
